My paintings are the story tellers of the topics I am exploring. The figures disguised as flora tell a human story.

I care to give expression to the inner world and emotional landscape rather than the exterior. I want to depict the essence of us, that which makes us the same and therefore intentionally disregard aspects of race, gender or appearance. I don’t paint people, but merely a metaphor of them.
